Little Explorers Family Day Care is now open!

Operating hours 8am- 4.30pm

I have been a family day care educator for 10+ years in that time I have become a mum of 2, Charlie who is 10 and Thomas who is 2. I offer a stimulating program that accommodates to all learning styles. As an educator I provide experiences that cater for each child’s interests and encouraging new interests, building on strengths and weaknesses. Working with families and children to build a detailed picture of each child’s learning and development. My portfolios are a beautiful keep sake of each child’s journey at little explorers FDC.

PHILOSOPHY

As a Family Day Care Educator, my mission is to provide an honest, safe, clean, stimulating, friendly, and highly professional service that supports the unique development of every child in my care.

The wellbeing of your child is my top priority. I am committed to creating a happy, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn, play, and build meaningful relationships with their peers.

I strive to foster a sense of belonging, self-worth, and emotional wellbeing through positive experiences, gentle guidance, and lots of loving cuddles. Every child is treated with the same care and respect I would give to my own, and their individual needs both developmental and emotional are always at the heart of my practice.

At Little Explorers, I believe in building strong, respectful partnerships with families. Open communication, trust, and honesty form the foundation of this relationship, allowing us to work together to support each child’s journey—without replacing the vital role of parents.

Our learning program is designed to be inclusive, flexible, and responsive to each child’s unique learning style and pace. I take great care to offer engaging experiences that nurture current interests, while gently encouraging children to explore new ideas and skills. Patience, understanding, and intentional teaching guide everything I do.

My goal is to create a loving and supportive space where children feel confident to express themselves, take risks, and grow into resilient, capable, and kind individuals.
