ABOUT LINDSEY

Hi, I am Lindsey from Lindsey’s Family Day Care in Broome.

I am a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher and have over 10 years experience working within Early Childhood. I have my Working with Children’s Check and National Police Clearance.

I operate Monday to Friday and casual bookings over weekends available.

I provide before and after school Care for local schools in the North Broome area.

I provide a safe place for children to explore and learn through play. I have a strong focus on the Early Years Learning Framework and encourage children to learn in their own time and through their own interests. I believe in children having the opportunities to explore, engage and be creative.

We have a strong focus on community and engage in local playgroups and other community activities available. This provides the children with a strong sense of identity within our small community.

I believe in creating strong partnerships between families and educator to provide the best care for your child.

Hello and welcome to Karley’s Family Day Care.

I have been in the Child Care Industry for 20 years. I have spent 14 of those operating my Family Day Care. 10 years in the Pilbara and moved back to Perth in 2023.

I am Certificate 3 qualified since 2004. I am currently working towards my Diploma.

I hold all of the relevant qualifications necessary to run a FDC. Police Clearance, WWCC, First Aid, Child Protection, Safe Sleep training, Food Handling and continue to attend Personal Development courses throughout the year.

All household members over 18yrs also hold a Police Clearance and WWCC.

I am a Mum of 4 wonderful children. We have our family dog Sarge who loves to be around us all day.

I believe all children deserve the very best education and care when enrolled in my service. We love to be outside exploring what nature has to offer on our property. We love to garden, propagate new plants to care for, discuss how to care for the garden and the environment. I believe all children have a choice in our daily program and what activities they do. We are continuously discussing our likes and dislikes and run a child led program following the Early Years Learning Framework.
