We believe that children are capable and competent
and have the ability to lead their own learning. We trust children’s instincts and their ability to make choices, learn from experience and become confident individuals. We support Educators in developing high quality nature-based environments where children’s learning, wellbeing and involvement are promoted, empowering them to thrive and develop to their full potential.
We believe in holistic sustainability
We support and empower Educators in creating opportunities for children to connect with nature. We actively promote sustainable practices within the service with the intention of all children understanding how we can minimise our carbon footprint and the impact we have on the environment.
We believe in natural learning environments
We support Educators in creating opportunities for children to connect with nature within their high quality, nature-based home environments and on regular excursions to natural spaces. We encourage developmentally appropriate risky play opportunities, enabling children to challenge themselves, while developing perseverance, resilience, and high self-esteem.
