Hi, I’m Kerryanne form Maryville Downs Family Day Care in Lower Chittering and I believe in providing a service were children are able to learn through play.

At Maryville Downs Family Day Care children will be able to choose what interests them, explore, use their imaginations, learn and grow from every experience. I feel that it is important to create a safe, caring, loving environment where children feel at ease to be themselves and to learn, enjoy and simply have fun.

I respect that we all come from different backgrounds and hold different beliefs and ideas. As parents you are the primary influence to your child and I believe in working alongside you to accomplish individual goals for your children,

I support the learning outcomes around those of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Each child learns at a different pace and in their own unique way. By observing each individual child I can then assess how they are learning and developing so I can use this information to lead them into each learning and development stage.

Making sure your children feel comfortable to be able to ask or answer questions or to come to me for a chat is important for me as an educator. I aim to be able to provide this comfort and form a bond between all children in my service and their families.
