ABOUT MICHELLE

Welcome to Michelle’s Family Day Care. I previously ran my Family Day Care Service for 19 years in Perth until April 2023.  We moved to Geraldton in December 2023 and I am now operating my Day Care Service in the suburb of Geraldton.

I believe that children learn through play and here they will have plenty of time to free play and explore.  I will provide activities for the children to participate in based on their interests and abilities using the EYLF as my guide.

Children are unique individuals with their own personalities and interests.  I intend to build a caring relationship with each child and I will treat them equally and with the respect that they deserve; so that the children look forward to spending time with myself and the other children in a fun, stimulating and caring environment.

I believe children need to be guided in a positive manner and I will use positive encouragement to guide their behaviour and I will role model positive language and behaviour. Positive, open communication is vital between families so that everyone is happy coming to my service.
